The Draft

I have finished the draft, it took me a while but I feel like I am on track. I am going to ask my parents and friends to proof read the draft for me because I don't want to find any mistakes after I print all the copies. Since I have finished my draft I am going to start sketching my pictures, I have already practiced a little bit so I think I have an idea on what i am going to do, but I am going to do a few more practice drawings before I get started. Here is is my draft below:

There once lived four koalas in a tree. One mother, one father and two children, a girl and a boy. They all lived in their own gum tree in the forest. They were all very happy sleeping all day and eating gum leaves, until....

One day while all the koalas were sleeping a group of people came to chop down all the trees. One of the baby koalas tried waking up the rest of the family, “ Wake up, wake up!” yelled the baby girl koala, pushing and shoving the rest of her family to wake up.

But it was to late, they started to chop our tree down, finally the rest of the family woke up and they all quickly climbed down branch to branch off the tree and reached the ground just in time. “ Why are they chopping down our home?” asked the mother.

All the koalas were sitting on the ground with no home and no place to go. That afternoon to hikers came hiking through the forest and saw the koalas sitting on the ground. “ What happened?” asked on of the hikers to the other hiker.

Page 7:

“ I Don’t know, should we call the Australian Koala Foundation?” asked the other hiker. When the conversation was over, one of the hikers got on the phone while the other was standing and making sure that the koalas didn’t go anywhere.

“ Hello, is this the Australian Koala Foundation?, ok thank you. Hello my name is Anna and I went hiking in the forest this morning with my brother and we found a family of four koalas sitting on the ground.” said one of the hikers on the phone.

“ Thank you, for calling Anna if you could please just stay where you are and we will send some of our workers to the site.” replied one of the members of the Australian Koala Foundation into the phone.

The hikers stayed with the koalas and after a while two members of the Australian Koala Foundation drove into the forest with their vans and collected the koalas. The Australian Koala Foundation took the koalas back to their offices and took good care of the koalas.

The Australian Koala Foundation did as much as they could but they still needed the communities help. So people around the community offered to fostered a koala and some also gave a donation to the Australian Koala Foundation.
